Description
About the grass
Cymbopogon is a genus in the grass family, with around fifty species that smell like lemon and grow in Africa, Australia and Asia. Citronella is one of the largest cultivars and can grow to be as tall as two meters. Due to its red, tree-like trunk, the grass cannot be eaten by humans or animals unlike many other lemongrass variants. Wild plants are considered weeds.
